I tried to get 1050ti at normal price in US before its price went up and sold out fast at Micro center and few other places near me few months ago. At that time, I was very lucky to buy GTX1050 at normal price in order to finish my build. I occasionally play KOTOR, KOTOR 2, Kingdom of Amaular, and few other rpg/shooters games.

MSI - GeForce GTX 1050 2GB Low Profile Video Card. I'm the most proud of this one. It was $109 when I first saw it, then all of a sudden it was $10 cheaper with a $20 MIR. I had to jump on it. a Ti would have been nice, but the price difference ($50) is almost as much as I paid for this one ($79).

Gets me the fps I need for a good price, since I'm more into e-sports. However I realize I could've gotten a 1050Ti.

Damn, this card is perfect for the budget gamer. Right on the value sweetspot, and gives you enough fps in games to choke a console peasant (lol)

A budget card for a budget build.

So far the games I've played (rocket league, lego marvel, tony hawk) have all come across at 60fps. Not having an extra power connector also helps the inside stay clutter free.

Pros: This card is great if you want 1080p gaming at a low price! The card stays fairly cool under load. Can handle games like csgo at 1080p max settings at over 80fps!

    Cons: None at all.

If you are looking for a cheap card, that will get you 60fps with med to high settings at 1080P and you are on a budget, this card is for you.

    I paid 91.17 (81.17 w/ 10 dollar MIR) for this.

Pros: Good value, faster than other 1050's, comes with Afterburner which is nice.

Cons: More a a Nvidia or TV issue, but the HDMI audio output did not work with every TV while my onboard HDMI audio output did. There is no fix except to use onboard audio or a different TV. It was a commercial grade TV.

Other Thoughts: Runs at 62 C under load which is hotter than some other 1050's, and so I might limit GPU Temp to 50-55 C to save electricity. Pro for gaming, con for efficiency and heat.
