Purchased after being recommended in NewMaxx's list as a mid tier unit. For the price it was the best NVME SSD I could find with TLC flash.

    NOTE:

    • UD90 1 TB has TLC flash.
      • This information can be found on the product packaging sticker.
    • But drives for UD90 > 1 TB capacity are known to ship with QLC flash.

I got lucky with TLC flash since I ordered the 1 TB variant but I wish SP was more transparent about their drive models and flash types (on their website or the product spec sheet). For me, this knocks it down a point in ratings.

Great 1TB drive. Good read and write speeds, doesn't have any cache but it's not really to be expected of for a drive of this price.

Sniped at a decent price amid the SSD price hike, from a reliable company and has good speeds.

SSD prices were rising at the time of me buying this, so it cost $95 AUD, however now it's cheaper. Blazing fast performance.

With how cheap NVME is currently (summer '23) you cannot go wrong with most $50-60 1TB PCIE 4.0 drives. This one was even cheaper, so only go for it if you're going for value over peak performance. Otherwise it'll do what you need for a main drive, while staying fairly cool! (I got 5.1GB/s read peaks, and 3.9GB/s writes in CDM 8.0.4)
